ALEX HENSHAW - Assistant Manager

Alex worked for a year as a para-educator before becoming Comic Book Ink's loyal register monkey in October of 2003. He's been reading comics since the mid-eighties with a break during the late nineties. Since then, his tastes have grown from just Marvel and DC titles to include many independants, manga and an ever-increasing list of web comics.

JOSH INMAN - Sales Associate / Gaming Specialist

A long time customer of Comic Book Ink, decided to pursue his dream of working in the comic book industry and joined the staff of the shop in the summer of 2008.  He brought with him more than 10 years of retail and managerial experience to the store. A life long fan of the Avengers, and a child of the 90's comics boom, he stopped reading for several years until he was introduced to INVINCIBLE and THE WALKING DEAD.  These two titles reinvigorated his passion for comic...from independent to marvel and more. He is currently working on his own book series which he hopes to see print soon,

Favorite writers include Robert Kirkman, Brian Michael Bendis, Matt Fraction, Stan Lee, Will Eisner, Eric Powell, Tim Seeley, Garth Ennis, Ed Brubaker, Jeff Parker, Gail Simone, Geoff Johns, Frank Cho, Kurt Buisek and Mark Millar

BILL DARGAN - Chief Appraiser

After 25 years as a Clinical Lab Scientist in Immunology, and another 10 as a food supplement broker and natural health-care consultant, Bill Dargan forsook the medical field for a dream job grading and pricing comics.

Bringing with him to CBI over 30 years comics experience (as a collector since 1954 and as a newsletter editor and appraiser for O’Leary’s Books in Tacoma off-and-on since 1977), Bill, along with Ron Trimble, laid the foundations for the modern 10-point grading system, and has a keen eye for detail, conservatively assessing the condition of a book, so that the buyer almost never feels victimized by the “over-calling” and over-charging rampant in the field today.

Bill’s hobbies include sci-fi movies, comparative theology, and, of course, comics. He has virtually every X-Men story ever published (including guest appearances), and his all-time favorite series is Nexus.
